So, my son likes to take things apart. Give him a screwdriver, and he will find something to unscrew. Last weekend Aaron and I went to Salt Lake for the weekend, and while we were having a great and relaxing time, we decided to get the boy a new bookshelf. (His leans to the side because he took it apart and lost some of the screws out of it.) I wanted to put the old bookshelf in the garbage, but figured it needed to be disassembled before it went in the dumpster.

I know this might sound crazy, but I got the boy a screwdriver and told him he could watch Handy Manny and take the shelf apart. He was quite happy that he didn't get in trouble this time.

I wanted him to smile at me for a picture, and he wanted to be a stinker, so he would only close his eyes! These are the lovely shots he gave me.

We did talk about how he could take this bookshelf apart, but he could NOT take the white one apart.

He probably won't listen, I will probably be blogging about a white shelf and a screwdriver in a couple of days.

Happy Easter!

When my little boy woke me up Sunday morning, I realized that while we were all still sleeping, he had dug through his entire Easter Basket! He was hyper and wild, and he wanted to look for eggs right then, but we made him wait for his tired sister Paige to wake up first. He had a great time, I could not believe how excited he was. I gave each kiddo a different color of egg to find this year, and it worked much better. The girls left the, much easier to find, blue eggs alone.

This is a picture of what was left of his basket after he woke me up.

I was running late for church, so I sent Aaron out to take Easter pictures. We should have had an indoor photo shoot, because these kids were a bit chilly, and the sun was beautiful, but shining right in their eyes.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

Happy Birthday Brian and Jessica!

So, As I look for pictures of my cute little twin brother and sister, I am realizing that we seem to only photograph the grandchildren in our family! I found some darling pictures of them tied to the legs of the piano bench as toddlers, and cute little baby pictures, but my computer is not cooperating with me tonight. So here is the nicest picture I could find! (I didn't want to post the mean ones of them, which we do have, but it is their birthday!) I am sorry it's not just the twins, they are the young ins wearing blue!

Happy Birthday you two!! We hope you have a great day!

Flashback Friday

Do you think they look related???
This little boy is still trying to do EVERYTHING his daddy does. Carson even has his legs crossed to match Aaron's. I love how these boys love to do almost everything together!!
(I do think Carson might enjoy it a little more that Aaron:)

Bikes, volleyball, and a bit of yard work...

Saturday we tried to get in a little bit of everything! The kids needed some new bikes since Morgan was too big for her old one, and Carson's dad did not want his boy's first bike to be pink. Poor Paige didn't get a new one, because Morgan's old one is perfectly fine. She was easily pacified by getting her a basket, handle bar streamers, and a bell. Such a sweet girl!!

Aaron decided he was tired of changing the bark in our mound every year, so we decided to switch it to rock. I was gone half of the day, so Aaron and Carson got to work on this project mostly by themselves.

Paige, Morgan, and I got to spend the day in Rexburg, for Morgan's first Volleyball tournament. It was a long day, but it was fun to see what she is learning at practice. Paige was a good sport to color and and play while we were there for 5 hours.

Happy Birthday Rachel!!

Happy Birthday Rachel! We thought we would post some of our favorite pictures of you! ( We especially love the mud photo!)

Thanks for always being funny, sweet, and darling! Hope you have a fabulous birthday! We love you!!
