star valley

one of our favorite places to take our trailer is to grandpa lindberg’s house.  we usually go up for the lincoln county fair each year, but girls camp ended up being that week, so we had to go a week early.  here are some (actually a lot) of my favorite memories from our noce weekend away.  we were lucky enough to be able to go when a few of our cousins were there as well.  my kids love to visit grandpa’s even more when they have cousins to play with.

all my boys…big and small…love to check out grandpa’s tractors.  i love how aaron can talk for hours about all the memories he has from going there as a kid.   carson loves to hear about how he helped grandpa work on the farm.

we went to the fair in town, celebrating that the fair would be starting the next day.  the kids got a ton of candy, so much fun.

 

these poor kids were the street cleaners, and came by after the horses to clean up the road.  so funny.

we had a great weekend, it was so nice to relax.  we had been having such a stressful summer, it was heavenly to sit around and let the kids run and play. it was a much needed break from the crazy that was waiting for us at home.

paige turned 10 this year.  i love this picture of her cupcakes, carson decided to put 10 candles in her cupcake for her.  we had a family party and had her friends over for pedicures, pizza, snacks, and a movie.

at 10 years old paige enjoys: movies, softball, volleyball, spending time with grandparents, camping, having friends over, playing with cousins, nutella, chicken noodle soup, cookie dough ice cream, and sleeping in on the weekends.  we love this girl and her very sweet personality:)

when all the cousins were here, we thought it would be fun to go fishing for a night.  our neighbor was kind enough to let us come use a small pond on his dads farm, it was so wonderful to have the place all to our selves.

paige played softball this summer, we had so much fun watching her play.  she was a great batter, and we loved to watch her hit the ball.  they had a pretty good team and ended up coming in 3rd place in the tournament.
