Tagged!

My sister-in-law tagged me a while ago, but things have been a little crazy at our house! So here it is, better late than never right??
I am... Brenda (Williamson) Lowry, wife to Aaron, daughter of Richard and Monica, and mother to Morgan, Paige and Carson.
I miss...my sisters! I wish we all lived right by each other!
I think...I need to stay in town for a couple of weekends and get my life back in order.
I love... my family, immediate and extended!!
I know... I should be more patient and laid back!
I want...to learn more about computers! Sometimes I feel like such a dummy!
I search...for activities to keep my kids busy, and really yummy recipes.
I wish...I could stop worrying, and I could take that same dumb genetic trait that I passed on to my sweet daugter Morgan, away from her!
I hate...when I lay in bed at night and wish that I would have been a better mom to my little children.
I am scared...of way too many things! The list would be far to long!
I fear...that something will happen to my children.
I am always...trying to clean! I wish I could find a happy place in my head, even if my house is messy! I am sure my kids would love it!
I love...my family, and days when I have NO scheduled appointments, and I can relax a little bit!
I feel...blessed to have a home, a hardworking husband, great parents, and three pretty cute little kiddo's!
I hear...the radio! The music really helps get the dishwasher unloaded, and re-loaded!
I smell...Cherry Clove Chutney, that is my very favorite Scentsy scent! It makes my whole day better!!
I don't always...get up early in the morning! I love to sleep in, and hate that I am REALLY not a morning person.
I wonder...how much more I could get accomplished if I was a morning person. Excersize, dishes unloaded, laundry folded, dinner in the crock-pot, all before 9 AM? My ultimate dream!!!
I care...about my loved ones.
I regret...not videotaping my children more.
I am not afraid...I'm not even sure I can think of one...
I believe...that my Heavenly Father Loves and knows me.
I danced...in the kitchen with Carson last week! (I am not that good, so he is about the only one I let see!)
I sing...in the car.
I write... a little, but not all that well. I took journalism in High School, so you would think I would be better! (Mostly I just wanted to go to California with the school newspaper! It was a FABULOUS time!)
I win...nothing- except maybe a game now and then. The last time I won something was a 21 inch TV, two weeks after Aaron and I got married! That was 11 years ago, so I am not exactly lucky in that department!
I lose...my keys almost everytime I go to my parents house! I don't loose them at my house, but so much when I go visit them!
I never...go to bed on time! The house is so quiet and peaceful, I just stay up later and later! It is not a good thing, because it is quite hard to be a good mom when you are delirious!!
I listen...to my husband chat about his day at work.
I can be found...usually in the kitchen! Not that it is my favorite place, but I really do like to cook, and then the mess seems to go on forever!
I read...alot, but I seem to let everything in my life slide when I do. I stay up too late, I don't get the laundry done, and we have no dinner, so my family is really starting to not appreciate it when I find a book I can't put down.
I am so happy...when my family is happy!
I tag Nichelle, Jeni, Elena, and Hanna!

Wind Cave

I am a little behind on my blogging! I worked for a couple of days at the school last week, and I got behind on everything.

My sweet mother-in-law watched Carson and Paige two weekends ago, (she had to be at our house at 5:45 on Saturday morning!) while Aaron, Morgan, and I went on a hike with my parents. We hiked to Wind Cave (near Darby Canyon), I had been on the hike before, but I might have been in better shape because I thought it would be a breeze, but it was a bit harder than I thought it would be. Morgan cruised up it, and I am pretty sure she loved having all the attention of Aaron, Me, and both my parents. She is the kind of girl who really likes to hang out with adults!

We made it to the cave before lunch, so we decided to walk through some of the cave before we ate our lunch. You walk through a huge opening, and then it gradually gets smaller and smaller as you walk through it. It gets to a point where you can crawl through a hole, and continue back further into the cave. I can't say I loved being in that part of the dark windy cave! Morgan was a little nervous, but she was brave and crawled through the little dark hole. We only stayed in for about a half an hour, but that was plenty for me!

The colors up in the mountains were so beautiful! On our way home, we stopped at Darby and took Morgan down the slide. Thanks, Mom and Dad for the fun day!! (Except for the nasty food at the Black Angus!-anyone for a mushroom burger????)

Hello Kitty???

So, I have noticed that so many of my posts are highlighting my son's-how do I word this nicely?- Creativity? He is busy, and a bit destructive, but since his sisters have gone back to school, I have learned a few new things about this little guy!
He talks so much better than I thought! Since his sisters are not talking for him all day, I have learned that him and I can have a little conversation now and then!!
He REALLY is loving pre-school! He gets his backpack ready, and while he is there, he doesn't miss me a bit! This was something I thought might never happen.
He can be sweet. Today he asked me for some crackers, and I told him "It costs a kiss!" He wrapped is arms around my neck, and on my lips gave me a serious and slobbery kiss. The he claimed,"Me give you a Moochy!" I don't know where he learned that, but I thought it was pretty cute!

Also, to his fathers dismay, he has picked a new favorite show.

Paige talked him into watching it with her, and now he is a bit more a fan than we were hoping! Maybe thats what happens when you are a only boy with two older sisters. You love dump trucks, tractors, trains, and Hello Kitty!

Busy Days, and Nights!!

Last Thursday, this little guy decided he would use his dad's screwdriver and take screws out of his bed, bookshelf, and several of his toys, especially the ones with batteries!

It took quite a while to put everything back together, so on Friday, we decided to make playdough! He loves playdough, and was in heaven playing with it for over 4 hours! Here are some pictures of his handiwork! Don't you love how he totally covered his little tractor with every color of playdough mixed together!

That boy looks pretty healthy in those pictures! Who would have thought he would wake me up 5 hours later, coughing like crazy? He was wheezing and really struggling to breathe and talk. He usually gets Croup once a year, and we were pretty sure that what it was, so I ran him into the ER to get a breathing treatment and steroids. I could not believe how he seemed just fine when he went to bed, but was on his way to the ER a few hours later!

We had promised our girls a trip to the fair on Saturday, so when he woke up feeling OK we decided to go ahead and go. We forgot to remember that he was up for 4 hours, at the hospital, in the middle of the night! Things started well while we were looking at the animals, the children were all happy, but after the animals the little boy turned nasty! I am sure he felt terrible, but he was super crabby! Here are some pictures we took, before the boy got unhappy!

By the end of the night, I could not believe how tired he looked. His eyes were bright red and swollen, and he looked terrible! So today, we stayed home from church and decided the little guy needed some R&R time!!!

1st day of preschool!

So , it has been a couple of stressful days worrying about this little guy! He won't go to nursery very well, and two days ago I tried to drop him off at a friends house to play, and he would have nothing to do with it. So I was a little nervous to see if he would go to preschool! I didn't want to stay, because after I stayed once in nursery, he always wanted me to be with him! I really did not want to have to attend 3 year old preschool with him!!

When we got to his preschool, he was actually excited! When we got inside he ran to tell his teacher about his Lightning McQueen backpack! (We had to go to three stores to find one!) Then we got him settled, and he went off with his class. I tried to tell him once that I was leaving and he got sad, so I was a bit worried. The teacher (who is my good friends mother) took them back to the preschool, and he went first in line with no reservations! My friend then said-Lets go! I was a bit hesitant, but her Mom is the teacher, so I figured she would know best. So I left, without telling him and he did great. I was a little nervous while he was gone, and every time my cell phone rang, I worried he was having a meltdown, but he loved it! So Hurray! We are quite excited about this little victory!!

I can't believe my little boy is getting so big!

Labor Day Weekend!!

It has been just a little bit crazy at our house! This was our third weekend in a row that we have been out of town. This last weekend we drove our trailer to Star Valley to visit Aaron's grandpa's farm. Our kids had a blast, I hope they are always so easy to entertain on vacation! They love to leave town and sleep in the trailer! Carson was in heaven, he could not get enough of the animals, tractors, 4-wheelers, and Grandpa Wilton's cats. We went on a 4-wheeler ride to the back of grandpa's land and fed some of his neighbors horses. (I am sorry about the volume of pictures, but I took so many this weekend, and I wanted a record!)

We were feeding the horses alfalfa, we kept trying to tell Carson how to say it, but he just called it "Falfa!"

We went for a drive up a canyon by grandpa's house to go see Cottonwood Lake. The weather wasn't fabulous, but the kids loved watching the fish and fishermen!

This is Aaron's Grandpa Lindberg. He is almost 87, and he still drives a tractor and grow's crops. He works really hard, I am always impressed with how much he does! He is also so funny and the great grandchildren love him! In this picture he is trying to get Carson to help him drive the tractor back into the barn. Carson was a little too tired and scared to take him up on his offer!

This is Colter helping Grandpa move the water. Carson Loves Colter and Braydon (his cousins) and they are so sweet to play with him. They also are such good babysitters. I could relax because I knew Carson was always hanging out with one of them!

Morgan, Paige, and our cousin JaCee. These girls had so much fun playing games, looking for cats, and catching catepillar's! What cute little cousins!

Carson stranded on a big bale of hay!

Carson really liked playing on the tractors and 4-wheelers. I didn't see my girls doing so much of this!!!

We had such a great time relaxing and spending time with family. Grandpa and Grandma Lowry, Uncle Shane and his family, and Aunt Sherry were also visiting this weekend! Even though we experienced the first snow of the year (on Monday morning, pretty sad, don't you think?) up there, we had so much fun playing outside while the weather was nice, and inside when the weather was not so nice!

More Trouble!

The other day while I drying my hair, my little boy found one of these!!
As you can see, he is quite proud of himself!!

When I finished my hair, I walked down the hall, and he was opening and closing the door saying "It Works!" It took me a minute to realize why he would even care. Then I realized he had used his handy dandy screwdriver to remove these plates from the door frames, and he was happy the door still worked!
I was able to catch him after he had only taken two off, so I took his little tool away! Why does my little boy find the need to take my house apart???
