Comfy??

This little boy might be growing out of his bed.

A day at the zoo..

Last week my friend Becky and I took our kiddos to the zoo. They had been out of school for a couple of days, and we all needed to get out of the house already. It was a cool day, and the animals amazingly weren't all asleep. In fact, the monkeys were WILD and truly reminding us of our sweet -out of school for the summer-children!!

These cute boys were quite interested in the chickens, they sat down and laughed at them until they started to walk toward them- then these brave boys quickly moved back words. (They must have missed that chicken wire between them and the chickens!)

Thanks to the Beck boys and Becky (and little sleeping Lexie, who I REALLY should have gotten a picture of, because she is REALLY cute!) We had a great day!

Catch-up

We have been a little behind at our house lately!! I am going to try to get caught up, so excuse the randomness. Last weekend Aaron and Carson went on their first father-son camp out. Carson was VERY excited and kept reminding us that no grils (girls) were allowed, ONLY boys. When I tried to give him a hug, after he was buckled in his car seat, he just pushed me away. He was ready to get away with his Daddy. I forgot to send the camera, so I didn't get any pictures, but whenever I ask him if he had a good time he tells me, "It was a pun trip!"

On a naughtier note, while I was mowing my lawn this week, my son decided he was going to put a doggie door in my screen door. I came to check on him, and he had used the scissors, cut him a door, and was proudly showing me how it worked. I wish he could be creative -in a not so destructive sort of way.

For Memorial day, we spent the weekend in Star Valley at Aaron's Grandpa's farm. My kids love to go visit there, especially Carson. He loves all of the old tractors and farm equipment.
We tried to teach this little boy how to be respectful to the graves at the cemetery. He wanted to ride the tall ones like they were horses, so after he got in trouble, he decided to pout for the rest of the time we were at the cemetery.
We went to a little family reunion for Aaron's grandpa, and the kids had a great time playing on the toys outside. Carson could not believe they had such a "huge" slide.

Carson and Grandpa Lindberg working on the lawn mower. Carson has so much fun with Grandpa. He will grab grandpa's hand and pull (rather quickly) him around to ask questions or show him all kids of things. I worry Carson is too rough with Grandpa, but he just laughs and laughs! It is so fun to see the two of them have so much fun together.
