Saturday night, Aaron decided it would be fun to have a fire in the backyard and let the kids make S'mores! Carson was REALLY excited about making a "bire."
He kept telling me over and over that it was "wheely hot!" It was also a little dangerous to let Carson roast his own marshmallow's, he kept turning and almost stabbing all of us with his roasting sticks!
We got a little sticky, and really stinky, but we had a great time!

I'm glad to see you survived girls camp!! The 'bire looked like a great time! That would be fun to have in a back yard. I loved the pictures of Paige in the yard with her Barbie. That's something Ness would do- entertain herself with the simplest thing for hours! I hope your last couple weeks of summer will be a little less stressful!!
The "bire" looks like lots of fun. I know that my kids would think that was the greatest thing ever. I hope that you are going to be able to relax a little more now that your life has calmed down just a bit.
That looks like so much fun! I want to build a "bire" in our backyard. My kids would love it. Thanks for taking care of Bell today. I bet she had a really great time. Can't wait to see you on Thursday!
Now I'm craving smores! :) FUN! I like the "Bires" too cute! Girls camp is a TON of work, it looks like you had fun though!
Aren't "bires" fun? We love roasting smores every week...it's a fun little tradition for our family.
Your garden has really grown! Wow!
I am so grateful for blogs. We will be able to look back and read all the fun things we did for our kids. That will give us documented proof that we are FUN parents.
Love the bire! I want to come make some smores over your bire -- that sounds like so much fun! Glad you had a good time at camp and that you were able to enjoy yourself!
