After two tiring days at Disneyland, we drove to San Diego, where we stayed for the rest of our trip. The next morning Grandpa came back from a walk to the beach and told us that he had seen some dolphins. Morgan and Carson were really excited to go the water, so we headed down. It was so fun to watch Morgan see the ocean for the first time. We waded in the water, grandpa chased Carson with a big pieces of kelp, and we found a few sea shells. The rest of the day we played at the pool, poor Carson had been begging to swim for days. (The pool at our motel by Disneyland was closed for two days, to be repaired.) After two busy days, it was wonderful to have a relaxing day.

thank goodness for relaxing vacation days! i still remember when i first saw the ocean on one of our family vacations...it was in oregon...and (without my parents permission) we ran into it with our clothes and coats on. i almost drowned. anyway, i still remember how cool it was to see that endless water! (;
We are loving these Disneyland posts! Hallie has to explain every ride you picture. What a fun family vacation :)
