seri had planned some great outdoor activities, but the weather soon decided to not cooperate. we had some family olympics right as the weather sttarted getting nasty. next, the outdoor movie then had to changed, and then saturday morning we woke up to rain. we were supposed to spend the morning at a nature center at the college. we looked at the inside of the visitors center, and then headed out to go for our nature walk. unfortunately we soon were rained out:( they had a pond with a bridge over it that was filled with fish, and we really wanted to see the huge sturgeon in it. we saw a little glimpse of it, but then the rain started to really come down.
the boys loved this lilttle exhibit with sand, rocks, and running water. they played and played till we had to ask them to let some other kids have a turn.
