love these two boys.
what a special day to spend with them and our family and friends.
what a special day to spend with them and our family and friends.
we tried to get some pictures after the baptism at our house.
coop was not cooperating. he was either jumping in pictures we didn't want him in or not looking when he was supposed to be smiling.
it is really hard to pose for pictures when your family and friends are waiting at your house to eat, and everything isn't quite ready.
a picture of the whole family looking just wasn't going to happen, coop was having a pretty sad day. we tried and tried, and after about 15 tries we gave up.
this is what most of them looked like:(
carson with grandma and grandpa lowry
carson with grandma and grandma williamson
after carson was confirmed, our counselor from the bishopric asked that carson's grandparents on each side, say a couple of words to him. it was the sweetest thing to watch these grandparents tell carson how much they love him and give him a few words of advice. carson was very touched by this experience. i asked him later that night as we were writing in his journal how he felt about what they said to him, as he told me, he got choked up all over again and said "he just felt very loved." what a special day, so thankful for everyone who shared it with us.
