carson’s first grade class invited all the parents to come watch them put on a couple of plays. in carson’s play he was a monkey, and i was amazed at how well the whole class had memorized the parts. they were pretty long. after the plays, mr. mckinney had taught the kids sign language to “home on the range,” and they ended the show with that performance. carson loved first grade and especially his teacher:)
