Feels like Spring...

We had such a warm, sunny week. It felt wonderful. Carson decided it was nice enough for a picnic. While I was feeding Cooper a bottle on the porch, Carson set the three of us up with a picnic. He got a blanket, a left-over sandwich for me, and a bowl of ice cream for him and I. He even brought the whole 1/2 gallon outside, and scooped it for us. What a sweet little date.

He loves this ice cream scooper. It is from Aunt Sherry, and it has a pig head on the top. If you fill it with batteries it will make piggy noises at you while you use it.
Lovely.

Cooper was happy. This photo is not figure flattering. The angle of the car seat does a number on his double chin.

My lunch dates.

When it was time for school to get out, we took the baby on his first outdoor stroller ride, to pick up the girls from school. Once they were home, they had to change into summer clothes. They claimed they were roasting.

This picture is a compromise. Paige was quite bummed that I wouldn't let her turn the sprinkler on under the trampoline. I told her we certainly couldn't run through the sprinkler when we still had snow in the back yard. She decided she would have to be content wearing her swimsuit outside, just not getting wet. I did let her have some cookies to make everything all better.

And with the feel of spring, we must have some spring cleaning. Thanks AJ for a tidy garage!

Reading Buddies!!

Once he was a mamma's boy, then he turned into Daddy's boy, and his new favorite is Miss Morgan. When we ask him every night who he wants to read him his books, it is now his big sister. I am grateful, because he has a huge tendency to pick the same books over and over again, and his parents were needing a break from the "David books."

So cute!! I love that I have on record that their were times when they got along and actually had fun with each other, as rare as that may be sometimes!!
(We did mess up and let him watch Bedtime Stories, so after the books, he whines until his Dad breaks down and tells him a story. Spoiled, spoiled, boy.)

Flashback Friday

Do you think they look related???
This little boy is still trying to do EVERYTHING his daddy does. Carson even has his legs crossed to match Aaron's. I love how these boys love to do almost everything together!!
(I do think Carson might enjoy it a little more that Aaron:)

Burrito

Carson and Grandpa Rich have a little game they like to play called "Burrito." It consists of wrapping Carson up in a blanket, and then Grandpa will pull the end so he spins and rolls out. It is a bit rough, and sometimes we tend to have injuries. The little guy still keeps wanting to play though.

While Zach was visiting, we tried to talk him into taking a turn. We almost had him ready to go until Carson hit his head on the floor, and them Zach wasn't all that interested in playing anymore. (He might be the smart one here!) After Zach declined, they decided maybe it was time for Grandpa to have a turn!

After Grandpa had such a great time, Carson decided his Daddy needed a turn. Thanks for Aaron and Grandpa for being great sports!
